Celebrations are underway to mark the 50th anniversary of 1973 counter-culture Nimbin Aquarius festival

The 1973 Aquarius festival shaped Australia’s alternative lifestyle movement. Hundreds are now gathering in the northern NSW village of Nimbin to remember the event, recreate it, and decide on how to shape the world for the next 50 years.
