Man tries to jump Tube ticket barrier but fails and knocks his teeth out

Footage has emerged from China of a man trying to jump over a ticket barrier in an underground train station only to trip, fall and break his teeth.

The CCTV video, filmed in Shanghai last Thursday, shows the well-dressed man's feet clipping the top of the gate, causing him to fall face-first onto the ground.

A small pool of blood is left behind after the disoriented man's friend helps him to his feet.

Underground staff reportedly issued first aid before calling an ambulance.
